The 2022-23 Obsidian collection, inspired by the natural formation of obsidian through extreme heat, mirrors the dynamic and powerful nature of the sport. This series showcases top football clubs and national teams globally, including celebrated teams like FC Barcelona, Germany, Juventus, Liverpool FC, and the United States. The collection also features all 20 Premier League teams, such as Chelsea FC, Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur.

Collectors can expect to find 3 sets of autograph cards, 5 sets of memorabilia cards, and 4 combined autograph & memorabilia card sets. Each box typically contains 4 autograph or memorabilia cards.

The 2022-23 edition introduces new Parallels Electric Etch Purple Flood (limited to 25) and Electric Etch Gold Flood (limited to 10). Additionally, collectors can seek out the sought-after Contra Parallels, which are found once per case.
